About the South East England Region

South East Mensa region is one of the largest regions of British Mensa, stretching from the New Forest in the west to the furthest corner of Kent in the East, and from the M4 corridor and the southern edge of the London Mensa region in the north to the English Channel coast.

The region has about 2,300 members divided between 20 local areas, Postcode areas: BN BR CT DA GU ME PO RH SO SP TN 1-20,22-30; see British Mensa regions page and SE region page (while logged in there). The events in these are supervised by their respective Local Organizers (LocOrgs or LOs) and Contact Members, all reporting to their Regional Officer (RO) and the Mensa management board.

The South East is represented by the monthly newsletter “SEMantics” which lists members who are LOs or CMs in all the localities in the region and includes news, articles, events and a prize crossword.
